Director of Revenue Cycle

A reputable healthcare organization is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Revenue Cycle to lead and manage all revenue cycle operations. The Director will be responsible for ensuring optimal financial performance through effective management of the revenue cycle process, from charge capture to payment posting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving process improvement and maximizing revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all revenue cycle operations, including charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and payment posting.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, enhance productivity, and reduce costs.
• Manage a team of revenue cycle professionals and ensure their ongoing training and development.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and CMS.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline processes and improve financial performance.
• Analyze complex financial data and provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of the revenue cycle.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in revenue cycle management and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of revenue cycle management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in revenue cycle software and technology.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws, including HIPAA and CMS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive revenue growth.
