As an Electrical Engineer through Elevate Studio, you will be at the forefront of designing cutting-edge power distribution and lighting systems for institutional, retail, and commercial building projects. You will lead the technical development of schematic designs, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration, making a tangible impact on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems, including lighting and power distribution, for commercial and institutional building projects.

  • Research and analyze data to assess the feasibility of designs and applications.

  • Develop and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, QA/QC reviews, and client expectations.

  • Create and edit technical designs, specifications, sketches, and diagrams of electrical systems.

  • Perform engineering calculations such as energy, load, photometrics, and voltage drop.

  • Generate clear, efficient, and constructible construction documents that optimize cost and performance.

  • Address non-routine code compliance issues and interpret codes in alignment with local authorities.

  • Conduct field observations, attend meetings, and recommend design improvements.

  • Manage construction administration tasks, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, and contractor coordination.

  • Maintain consistent communication with architects, clients, engineering disciplines, vendors, and consultants.

  • Lead and mentor designers and engineers-in-training, fostering a culture of professional development.

What You Bring:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration and designation.

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the design of electrical power systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code and related standards.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with SKM or equivalent electrical systems analysis software.

  • Experience with low-voltage systems, including fire alarms and telecommunications.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor team members.
