Solutions Architect, Prompt Engineering and Conversational AI – Remote

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)
Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 + Equity + Benefits

About the Opportunity

Our client is transforming how operational challenges are addressed in the healthcare space. Their mission is to help care teams operate more efficiently by leveraging machine learning, behavioral insights, and generative AI.

As a Solutions Architect focused on both Conversational AI and Prompt Engineering, you’ll lead the creation and enhancement of AI-powered chatbot systems across multiple use cases. This role blends hands-on technical design with collaborative teamwork across product, engineering, and data science.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conversational Design:

• Create AI dialogue flows with support for multi-turn exchanges, exceptions, and alternate paths
• Manage logic for dialogue states, intent recognition, and entity extraction
• Design modular and scalable conversation framework

Development and Integration:

• Implement models using state machines, decision trees, or graph-based structures
• Build LLM-integrated agents using tools like GPT, Claude, LLaMA, and Gemini
• Deploy using frameworks such as Amazon Lex, Rasa, Dialogflow, and LangChain
• Integrate with CRMs, databases, and internal tools via APIs
• Extend chatbot logic with scripts, custom code, and backend integrations

Performance Optimization:

• Analyze usage patterns to refine intent models and user experience
• Apply unit, regression, and A/B testing to boost chatbot accuracy and responsiveness
• Build real-time monitoring tools and dashboards to track engagement and satisfaction 

Team Collaboration and Documentation: 

• Work closely with product managers to align features with business goals
• Partner with engineers and data scientists to enhance LLM accuracy and coverage
• Maintain documentation for logic, architecture, workflows, and handoff points 

NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED)

• Voice-enabled AI solutions
• Embedding models, vector databases, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation)
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs and their use in automation
• Experience in regulated sectors such as healthcare or finance
• Prior use of ML techniques for NLP-based intent classification

SALARY AND BENEFITS 

• Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (depending on experience and location)
