Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect

Position: Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer Semi-conductor Manufacturing 6+ month contract
Hybrid Remote 1-3 days onsite Santa Clara, CA office
This role will be supporting Amazon Web Services’ key client, Intel.
Required experience:
- MUST have previous experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing with specific experience in EDA with Front-end and/or Back-end experience
- AWS and Semiconductor experience required (Familiarity with Intel products required)
- 8+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or Sales Engineer supporting the following specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) in a medium to large organization with a strong track record of selling technical Cloud, Data or AI solutions.
- Help discover opportunities. Selling Intel and Amazon
- Past semiconductor industry experience is mandatory
- Strong communication and presentation skills required.
- Technical degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Certs great to have are AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar
Job Responsibilities
- Work with customer executives and architects to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs
- Drive technical solutions with customers to solve complex technical problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures
- Scope and own customer engagements, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria
- Define and deliver customer solutions by engaging both internal teams and partners
- Share the voice of the customer and proactively work within the organization to influence the evolution of AWS products and services
- Act as the subject matter expert, documenting solutions and best known methods, publish technical blogs and deliver webinars
